1). McSweeney's Quarterly subscription is a must as far gift giving and receiving goes. McSweeney's experimental nature and attention to detail has been a constant source of inspiration for The THING. It's a gift that keeps on giving. We are giving McSweeney's Quarterly subscriptions to many of our contributors.

2.) The THING is always on the look out for art-driven publications. We are super excited about In the Good Name of the Company: Artworks and ephemera produced by or in tandem with the Colby Printing Company Edited by Christopher Michlig, Brian Roettinger, Jan Tumlir.
This book chronicles the Colby Printing Company, known for their signature style of bold text and attention grabbing color. This is a project of future THING contributor Brian Roettinger (!) and is available at Printed Matter (!!).
3.) What would the holidays be without artist multiples? Park Life in SF is our go to spot for amazing artist designed projects. This season we are all about David Shrigley's Tea Towel! We are such big fans of his work and had the pleasure of working with him on our Travel Issue - 19. Everything he makes hurts so good. Great for kids and adults alike.
Available at Park Life, here, for $40.00.
