Fluxus 1 consists of a series of printed pages and envelopes bound together by nuts and bolts. Mieko Shiomi's contribution is a series of envelopes inside her envelope, deescalating in size like Russian Dolls.
The work's title is similar to Shiomi's Disappearing Music for Face, which is both a film and flip book (see below). It consists of a close-up of Yoko Ono's mouth going from "smile" to "no smile".
