Fluxus Mystery Animal New York City, USA: Fluxus, 1964
33.02 x 43.18 x 12.7 cm
Advertised as "mystery animal bottled in alcohol", the contents are more likely to be sinew or twisted leather, but the piece later evolved into
Fluxmouse, which contained a mouse the artist captured and killed.
This bottled work was originally offered for $1.00 in Fluxus newsletters and newspapers, and was later included in
Fluxkit.
