Maurizio Cattelan's public artwork L.O.V.E. (often known as Il Dito, Italian for 'the finger') is a large sculpture consisting of a hand with all the fingers severed except the middle. It is located in Piazza degli Affari in Milan, where the Italian stock exchange is located, and was installed in 2010, two years after the global financial crisis. The name L.O.V.E. is the acronym of "Libertà, Odio, Vendetta, Eternità" ("Freedom, Hatred, Revenge, Eternity").
The artist has produced several multiples based on the work, including a table-top miniature, a snow globe, and this brass lamp.
