When I was working on a project commissioned by the Power Plant for their 20th anniversary, I spent many days in their 'archives', which was a glorified storage cupboard full of dusty old bankers boxes filled with printed emails and old VCR manuals. The research resulted in these works.
Inside one of the boxes was this letter from a city councillor, addressed to the Toronto Blue Jays, asking that Snow be honoured by throwing out the first pitch at a ball game.
Steve Ellis is now a disgraced and disbarred lawyer, caught on film offering citizenship in exchange for sex. In 1994 he was a city councillor for Ward 9 and wrote this letter, espousing Snow as a "Torontonian of tremendous international fame".
