The title track was composed for the opening ceremony of the "Funakakushi-en” hotel in Kagawa, in 1963. The sound installation featured multiple speakers built into stone sculptures by Mitsu-aki Sora, and arranged throughout the main garden of the hotel. The sound was made from a modified Japanese traditional instrument called the Biwa. The second and final track, “Life Music [Tape Version] was from the following year.
The 2022 reissue is housed in a cardboard gatefold sleeve and includes newly-written liner notes in Japanese and English.
