A tote bag with a quote from the artist that reads:
"The more I work, the more I think I don't know what I am doing. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. It is like sweat or shit. It comes out as I go along … Art is shit. Art galleries are toilets. Curators are toilet attendants. Artists are bullshitters."
The sentiment (which resonates more so on some days than others) was originally written for the forward of the 2014 book Martin Creed: Works.
The yellow tote bag was produced in conjunction with the exhibition SAY CHEESE!, which ran from January 21st to June 11th, 2017.
