Continuing their series of having artists 'host' their annual membership drive (I think the first was Thurston Moore, several years back), Printed Matter has enlisted the help of New York artistBarbara Kruger. Membership provides critical support to the nonprofit's programs and services, which includes the production and distribution of artists' publications, including the NY and LA Art Book Fairs (which they founded) and onsite events and exhibitions.
Members at every level receive select publications and editions, as well as 10% off most purchases in-store and online. Join as a "Friend" or "Supporter" and receive Kruger's iconic artwork “Untitled (Business as Usual)."
A new membership level for libraries and institutions has also been added. Institutional Members receive an annual subscription to all new Printed Matter publications, typically 6 to 8 titles a year, along with the discounts and special benefits mentioned above.
