Bill Burns | Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Choir

Bill Burns launches his new record Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Choir at Art Metropole this Saturday, October 13th, from 4 to 6 pm.

Side A is conceived as incidental music for Burns' latest book, Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Told in the Form of Ivan the Terrible and the B-side features a wordless children's choir. Made up of thirty-two kids aged eight to twelve, the choir performs the sounds of dogs lapping milk, a creaking ship, the sound of a cockpit and other noises related to the books title.

Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Choir is a signed limited edition of 100 for $35.00 and a special edition of 25 that includes a limited edition print ($100). Both are ten dollars cheaper at the launch.
