John Cage

John Cage died of a stroke on this day in 1992, a few weeks before his 80th birthday. I recently found this obit (from the Toronto Star?) tucked into a copy of his book A Year From Monday.

Michael Dumontier and Neil Farber book bag and enamel pins

A two-sided book bag and a pair of small enamel pins by Neil Farber and Michael Dumontier. Both projects are produced by Paul + Wendy Projects, for Warby Parker, the eyeglass company that launched their first Canadian store in Toronto yesterday (see Micah Lexier post, below).

I believe that the bags are being given away with each purchase this weekend. The store is located at 684 Queen Street West and is open daily, from 11am to 7pm.
