Mungo Thomson | Negative Space

An artist book that mimics the format of National Geographic magazine, containing images of black holes, distant galaxies, solar systems and supernovae, which the artist culled from a copyright-free site featuring photographs taken from the Hubble Space Telescope. Thomson then simply reversed the images (a simple function in Photoshop - Command+i), removing the darkness from space. To illustrate, the last image here is the 2nd shot reversed.
