C Magazine Free Posters at Union Station

As part of Villa, C Magazine will be distributing six free posters over the next week at Union Station. The artists include Kelly Mark, Vanessa Maltese, Niall McClelland, Elizabeth Zvonar, Brad Phillips and myself. Many (all?) of them are being produced as Risographs by JP King at Paperpusher. The series is curated by Leah Turner.

Mine is titled Los Angeles as Toronto as Chicago and features a text excerpted and reworked from a forthcoming project called Substitute City, a narrated film response to Thom Andersen's excellent Los Angeles Plays Itself. It will consist of hundreds of clips from television and film productions that feature Toronto as the location but not the setting.
