Derek Sullivan | Folding Ruler

Derek Sullivan
Folding Ruler
Toronto, Canada: Paul + Wendy Projects, 2013
130 cm x 2 cm x 1.5 cm
Grey foil stamp on die-cut card, silver-coloured rivets
Edition of 100

The nineteenth edition published by Paul + Wendy Projects (following The Royal Art Lodge, Micah Lexier, Daniel Eatock, Kay Rosen, Michael Dumontier, Sara MacKillop and many others) is a new work by Toronto artist Derek Sullivan. It's available for $50, here.

A special signed and numbered edition of 15, with metallic gold foil stamping and gold coloured rivets, is effectively sold-out.

It's a sweet and flexible piece, that can function as a wall-work (on nails or atop an existing framed piece) or on a bookshelf. Or folded and safely stored in your multiples drawer.

Update: The work in situ at Micah Lexier's place (alongside David Altmejd, Christian Marclay, Michael Dumontier, etc), in our place (alongside David Shrigley, Fluxus and Jason de Haan), and being assembled by the artist.
