John Cage at 100

John Cage, who died in August of 1992, would have been 100 years old today. Pitchfork celebrates the artist/composer's centennial year with five videos, including interviews, performances, tributes and a game show clip. The final video is the entire Cage component of Peter Greenaway's Four American Composers (which also featured Meredith Monk, Robert Ashley and Philip Glass). Watch all five, here.

Earlier in the year Ubuweb "beefed up" their collection of Cage material in advance of the 100 year celebration. Those audio and video clips can be found here.
