The Carrying Root Collective is a project of Montréal-based artists Allison Henry and Kelly Zantingh rooted in drawing, printmaking, video and photography. Their work explores the industry surrounding the production of raw materials, often referencing their experience of tree planting in remote areas of Canada. They collaborate with other artists and communities as a means to increase the accessibility of art and to reach a larger public.

Visit their site, here, or at the Edition Toronto Art Fair this weekend.
