
An email from Sarah Bodman (more about her, and the Book Art Newsletter she writes, in a future entry) replies to the Ed Ruscha Afters post with a note about a project by her colleague Tom Sowden and his collaborator Michalis Pichler.
Inspired by Ruscha and Mason Williams' photo bookwork Crackers (1969) they created a purpose-built hotel room set at Arnolfini, to both facilitate a photo shoot to create a new version of the book, and as a reading room for the Ruscha knock-offs in their extensive shared collection.
