A sterling silver, ruby and sapphire necklace produced for Carol Rosenweig’s touring exhibition, "Echoes of Bauhaus" in 1988. Rosenweig was a former television producer and art collector who founded Artist Editions Limited, a publishing company dedicated to artists’ jewelry.
Sidewinder Neckpiece is a necklace with the head of a train and the tail of a snake.
Alexis Smith died yesterday morning in her Los Angeles home, at the age of 74.
