Holiday Recommendations Guest Post #1: Jason De Haan

Matthew Buckingham,
Mount Rushmore in 500,000 Years
New York City, USA: Cabinet Magazine, 2002
17 x 23" poster
Open edition

Working with a geologist, artist Matthew Buckingham conjured a fantastical moment far in the future, when the contours of one of the United States' most recognizable—and controversial—monuments have eroded to a point pitched uncannily between the familiar and the unfamiliar.
Originally included in Cabinet no. 7, the Failure issue.

Available here, for $15.00.
