Jon Sasaki’s Best Friendship

This 2006 project, in a pointedly unlimited edition, offers the artist's lifelong best-friendship, commemorated with a sterling silver half-heart pendant. Purchasers are requested to break the pendant in two, select half (either the “BE-FRI” half or the ”ST-END”) for themselves, and leave the other with a gallery representative. Sasaki will then collect and wear his component as an official symbol of the newly formalized friendship.
